Mixblik employs 20 women who have only recently moved to the Netherlands. They develop the tastiest recipes, learn Dutch and follow an internal training course. This lentil stew was developed by Eritrean mothers. It is made with onions, tomatoes, berbere (a spicy herb mix), ginger and of course lentils. The vegetables and herbs are slowly stewed in a closed pan, which allows the flavours to blend well. You can do anything with this dish. Delicious on bread, toast or with rice or bread.
